Smile Please Help : Over Motherboard and Processore

Hello everyone,

I am going to buy a PC in which i want a Pentium D processore ( 2.80GHz , 4MB L2 cache ) with intel D945GCL motherboard ( Intel 945G chipset ).

I want to know is which boards will better for me between intel 945 or intel 946 . As i think this processore will not work on 915 boards...

Please suggest me ...

well if u ask me.. personally would say neither board... rather GO for the D102GGC...

ATI Chip set makes a lot of diffrence while running Vista (though D102GGC is not a idle board but still i have tested and found Vista worked better on that board...)

also D102GGC has 2 PATA Port... where 945GCL only 1... otherways all other feature set is almost same...

Go for intel 946 or Intel 965 boards as they will give u d option of upgrading to C2D if u want.
