Default Grrr Grrr Grrr

ya thats the fan noise i get after some time i start my pc.
many will suggest speed fan...and yes i have that one...then when the sound starts i have to start speed fan....and take the speed of fan to 80% to control the speed..although i have noticed that the temperature is okay....
when i start game again the noise starts..although its still at 80% speed....then i have to lower it to 70%........
now sometimes i do not start the speed fan but slap my cabinet few times and the noise goes .....
Now can anybody suggest how can i get rid of this problem permanently

P.S.- one of my cabinet side is aways open ..so no problem of heating.

tighten up every nuts and bolts of your cabi, smps. coz' its the viberation that is causing the grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound

stop slapping your computer. after all s/he is your best friend who need your tender care to survive in this cruel world( of yours), and has feelings too. always try to impress and make her/him look good with new accessories. get the point.

Happened with me once ..turned out that the smps fan is not able to move properly due to dust accumulation.

either ur fan's axil has got lots of grease and dust or something is loose/touching the fan or the mobo...

also mostly the fan has a sticker on one side to close off the rotating part to get dry or dirty.. see if that is loose or absent.

Happened with me long time back. It was bcoz of dust. I cleaned it and then the noise stopped. But after a week it started again. I used to do that after each week untill I got new pc.

Mine sounds like a "Scotty"... and during night time, it's like... "Hello mom... Hello everybody in home... I'm using PC"

Humph... not a Secret anymore !!!

He he he... anyways, to check... I used my fingers to Stop the fan of both CPU and my AGP card (lol, only for a second)

And found it's not them... rather my NEW PSU (with 3 fans)... is that that humming bumble bee !!!

any suggestion?
