Is dere a BOTTLENECK in My PC

My rigs config is:
AMD Athlon X2 3800+
Asus M2N-MX
Hynix 1GB DDR2 667
Asus 6600LE 256MD DDR
80GB SATA II

I wanna ugrade my GPU to 7900GT(or DX10 GPU).but one of my frnds told me that if i install a 7900GT in my system dere wud be a system bottleneck as the system wont hav dat much juice to pull d card.Is it TRUEEEEE??????

I dont think so, btw the current bottleneck is ur 6600le

Obviously current bottleneck is that 6600LE but after you all a DX10 GPU for eg the 8800GTX the Processor will be the bottleneck.....but a 3800+X2 can surely so speeds of 4200+X2 or much higher...
The Manchester can easily do 2.4GHz..

@Assassin: Asus 6600LE 256MD DDR is the bottleneck in your configuration,i would suggest you to upgrade later because Vista is releasing and DX 10 Cards are fast approaching.

Well ... for a 7900GT , the only bottleneck i can see is the 1 GB ram .. though its enuf for the current games, future games will need more of it ..
