I own a laptop and the OS is in C drive.
my total consumption of disk space is 5 gb
but when I right click in properties it shows 8 gb.
can any one explain the phenomenon

I didn't care about it since i had a lot of space on my PC

but 3gb space is too much to be used by other resources.

To see d amt of space of ur allocated to Page File just type 'dxdiag' in run.u'll get ur answer.For my pc its bout 2.4GB

my page file is only 476mb. still i can account for the rest 2.5GB.
What should I do next to correct it .
Is there any software available for recovering from such inconsistencies

I dont think dat u'll get any software to reclaim dat space.U jst hav to live wit it.
