Smile RAW hard disk

Hi, I have a 40GB PATA and a 80GB SATA disk. Initially both were connected together and were working just fine. Then I took out the 40GB one and connected it to some other PC for a few days where alo it was working fine. Now when I am trying to connect it back to my PC its showing both the partitions of the disk to be containing RAW file system. Any clues as to what I can do, because, formatting it again and recovering the data is the last thing on my mind ?
