Default Chipping the Chipsets

Hey! I hv done a lot of scouting myself but thought taking a little bit more help would do no harm. I plan to upgrade after the nov issue of digit n I already hv decided upon e6300 n say i hv bought it. But, the only hckle i face is MOBO. Just getting confused every time. Tell me which is the best chipset, P965, G965, nforce 590, Sis 661fx/964 or any other?(except 975X as i think it will overshoot my budget) I hv a budget of about 7-10.5k. Plz Tell me 1 mobo each from gigabyte, ASUS, Intel n MSI. I like the gigabyte ga 965p dq6. I hv read reviews from reputed test centres n they say it is an overclocker's delight with a built in heat sink n no stability issues. I hv seen u all like ASUS. after all, both r taiwanese companies so duno which is better. i hv cheked their websites. (U might know coz i hv posted a lot of replies). I need support at least for overclocking, 2 front panel firewire, four front panel usb2.0 et al.
thnx in advance

Default Re: Chipping the Chipsets

Best chipset for C2D (not counting 975) is 965.
If you want to use SLI your only choice is a nForce chipset otherwise a 965 is the best.
