Default Heating problems with Turion64

I'm planning to get myself an Acer notebook which runs a AMD turion 64 processor. I've heard there are heating issues with this processor. Has anyone experienced anything? Does anyone have information on this issue?

I don't think there will be any heating issues but it may be little more power hungry than Intel counterparts
