Question Buying DVD Writer

I want to buy a dual layer writing DVD writer. I will use my DVD writer for all purpose but I have a Samsung CD-ROM too.

After searching forums I found that points r given to Liteon, BenQ & SONY. But still I m confused.

I tried for SONY but the vendor said that only OEM packs (Loose Packs) r available for SONY.

Now two options r remaining. Liteon & BenQ. Which is much better for dual layer DVD writing?

The BenQ 1670 might be good for dual layered ones but the 1650 is one rock solid stable drive unlike 1670.
