Gamming is Slow

hi,
Mine is "Compaq Presario 1130" PC of "Intel P4" mother board "2.80 GHZ" processor with "256 MB" ram. While playing games like "NFS-UnderGround" or "NFSMW" the system get`s slow. so, i additionally installed "256" Extra, total 512. But, there is no change in speed.But my frined who is using "Intel p4" , "2.04 GHZ" with "256 MB" ram works more faster than mine.So, i even formatted my system many times.I observed this problem in all "2.80" processor why do this happen. Inorder to solve this problem what should i do.Shall i purchase a "128 MB N-vidia Graphic card".Give me U`r Suggestions at "sandeep_v2k@yahoo.com".

Change ur motherboard , it will clear.

Do you even have a graphic card?
i dont think so.
by upgrading you ram you have created a lean number cruncher but not a good gaming machine.
formatting will not help ever.

Formatting helps, but not when your system can't anyways take the load. You need to completely buy a new one.
