Unhappy MP3 player space prob...


i just purchased a SONY SC85051F MP4 player(512MB) from a local electronics shop for Rs.1600 ....now the problem is that the first time i formatted the player the size got decreased to 230 MB..plz help is it possible to recover the lost space????
