Default what mobo shud i buy??


hey all,

i recently visited nehru place, new delhi to buy a new system but was overwhemed by the choice of components their, specially mobo. so, which mobo shud i buy?? my basic configuration is: inter p4, 80gb hdd, 512mb ram and all the usual bells and whistels.

Since the Motherboard is one of the critical components of a PC,its selection is important as Processor and RAM

I personally prefer ASUS,MSI or GIGABYTE
Even though they cost a little bit more than their traditional counterparts
the INTELS,
its worth a penny as they are enriched with extra features and slots.

Now can u get an idea ?

budget and usage?

P4 doesn't exist as of now except for obselete purposes

budget is aroung 22k and usage is just casual nothing much. i mean p4 dual core. btw thnx for reply

go for PCI-E..as agp will be phased out
go for SATA....more faster...
mobo ..cant help ..as intel based
