Default CPU Tripped

Hi frnds!

Today i shifted my computer to my study room which is not properly ventilated as i keep all windows closed. Although i have 1 extra fan installed in my CPU, to my surprise, the CPU was tripped due to over heating after 30-40mins of usage & i heard some strange beeps from CPU speaker b4 shutdown.

At 1st i didnt knew wat happened, so i just thought it to be some probe in my UPS, but when i kept it off for 1hr & restarted, i got bios message "CPU WAS SHUT DOWN PREVIOUSLY IN ORDER TO PREVENT OVERHEATING".

The system started this time, but didnt found any boot device, so i checked my priority in bios & restarted it. I worked, but the very next time i turned on my PC again it didnt found any boot devices neither my DVD writer. so i restarted it. then it was ok, but since then every alternate retart, i get the same error that NO BOOTABLE DEVICE FOUND & it gets solved on restarting.

ooops....... to boring to restart it again & again & a gr8 trouble 4 my mom who gets confused each time she starts PC.

wuzz wrong with my cpu? is anything serious? i have my PC in warranty.shud i contact the dealer or the probe can be solved....plz plz help guys...

the cpu fan is working fine & probe is something else, now my processor temperature always remains around 63C, (when the cabinet is opened) some fault in aluminum sink, or thermal paste needz to be reapplied?

If CPU is heated beyond a certain limit for long the paste becomes a black powdery substance. I think it might have lost its properties. Try reapplying it or get some good thermal paste like Artic Silver.

I think the CPU voltage in BIOS has somehow turned high. Its its so the CPU gets heated up quickly.
I dun know the voltage of an Intel procy. It might be on the CPU box cover. See if its beyond the limit.
