Red face RD RAM issue


my pc config is:-

intel 850 GB motherboard,
p 4 1.6 GHz processor
256 RD RAM(2 slots of 128 MB) and 2 are dummy..

i want to upgrade my RAM...can anyone tell me RDRAM is available in market??

i inquired in pune and ahmedabad...they says it is no more available in market??

any help???

it would be waste to get RDram now bump that mobo and cpu and get a Sempron64 or amd64

You won't find RDRAM anymore.
1)You need a complete system upgrade.
2)Look for second hand RAM if you still want it.
3)You may end up spending more than what it takes to upgrade the CPU+MB+RAM.
Sell your current stuff and you could get better stuff for as little as 3-4k investment, though 5-6k+ is recommended.

I have RD RAM from my old PC. I can give you 2 sticks of 64 MB each. You can PM me if you are interested in buying it.

well, rd ram is not avaliable now......try to upgrade ur system & get ddr2 instead.

btw....what is the bus speed of rd-ram?? i have read tat its damn fast.
why did it get outdated then ??

Sell your CPU+MB+RAM and get:

AMD 64 3000+ Venice
Foxconn nforce 4 with onboard video
2 X 256MB DDR 400
All this should cost around 9k and after selling your previous stuff you should be able to reduce maybe 1-2k.
