i urgently require a new gaming rig, should i opt for the pentium D 945 3.4ghz or the core2duo 2.13ghz? the c2d basically costs $275 and the EE costs $225(in my area) which one can perform better,and from what i've heard they can be overclocked,how do i do that? please reply!! benchmarks show that the conroe is significantly better but that may not be the case in real

1) I would choose any C2D over any previous Intel and mostly any AMD CPU as well especially with overclocker motherboard.
2)Overclock your way through, shouldn't be harmful if the system can take it and if done with care. |
