STRANGE: Volume keys in Microsoft Wireless Keyboard not working!

Hi guys!

Yesterday, I purchased "Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000", which includes both Wireless Multimedia keyboard and mouse.

Till yesterday night everything was working fine and I was able to use Volume +/- keys.

Today I cleaned my comp table and all other things, and after that when I started the PC, everything was fine but when I used Volume +/- keys nothing happened? All other multimedia keys r working but not these two Volume +/- keys.

I tried to reinstall the s/w, but all was in vain!

Now the question is: can a problem in the motherboard (like something get loose) cause this problem? I don't think that it can cause this problem! coz all other keys r working...

Pls give ur suggestions...

i think the problem lies with the keyboard itself, y dont u try on some different PC, if problem exists then there is fault in the keyboard..

try to reconnect the pc.. i have logitech and it has a connect button at back to switch frequencies....

could be software config problem too.. u know how software is ...
