Exclamation problem with s-video cable


i have an s-video cable which is around 1 meter in length i want to extend it around 15 metres , please help me with this
---- is there a way by using utp cable

S-Video at 15m length is quite close to the upper limit and will pick up a lot of interference. Not recommended. If if you do want to try this, get a good brand (Monster) as quality of shielding is paramount. If you do observe any chroma an luma separation, you may need an s-video amplifier in between. Better still, try to splice it into a component cable run and then splice back to s-video, This'll give you about thrice as much range without need for ramping up the signal.

^^ what is the UPPER LIMIT for length as in Component RCA cables 2 be used for DVD players without loosing signal gains?
