Cd writer: trying to fool

Hi there

I have really weird problem. I have a Samsung Cd-r/rw sw 252 f (52-32-52).
I am not able to write cd now a days.the thing is i use nero 6 to burn cds .the process goes on smoothly.the nero shows the burned sucessfuly at 32X speed but the cd comes out blank.i tried to burn again and same thing happend.i took the same cd to my frnds cd writer and i was able to burn it !!!! i even tried to use other software but the same thing.

so has the cd writer gone dead becaue i am able to read cds but not able to burn ..can anything can be done or i have to opt for a new thing ...

also if ne 1 cud tell me which dvd writer is best in the market ??

Ditto here, I dumped the CD RW and got a new BenQ 1650 DVD RW.
I had the same drive and still have it

But you can try burning at 4x, my CD-RWs burnt well at that speed!

Samsung definitely sucks!
