Exclamation SATA Problem with P5RD1

hi friends ,
my friend has brougt P5RD1 recently, Our configuration is P5RD1+ intel p4 2.66 Ghz, 512 MB hynix ram & weston digital SATA 80 GB hdd.
We recived excelent performance with this rig but we have a simple problem we have to use SATA drivers from floppy with every Windows installation
we are master of XP installation for this pc but yesterday we tried to install Beta of Longhon it goes up to 10 % & stops responding Blue screen error.

any buddy has tried longhon on P5RD1 with sata, i am happy to see what happens on your system & i heard that bios update will solve this problem is it ?

do you know any method other than floppy drive ?

thanks in advance

Windows Longhorn natively supports SAta Drives right from GO.. I think more often than Not , the problem lies with Curropted Dvd or installation source.
Still Try Resizing the partition and installing it.
