Question Display Dilemma

Guys, my monitor has started to act funny for the last few days. I recently formatted my machine and installed WinXP Pro SP2 , which I had previously. However after I boot, the screen flickers violently with a "ktt-ktt" sound and goes blank. After some time it again comes back to normal. I had this problem with my RivaTNT2 card ages back , when the card itself was at fault and I had to replace it. Now I have MSI915G Neo2 built in Graphics ...
I have also installed auto pathcher XP June edition.

So is it the mobo that is the culprit , or a display-driver conflict ? Or maybe my monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 750s bought 4 years ago) is at fault?

Any suggestion

Default Re: Display Dilemma

Looks like your monitor (SamSung SyncMaster 750s) is the culprit. I'm not sure though.
It maybe your mobo also. So take your Monitor to SamSung service center to see
if there is any problem. They will fix it if there is any problem. If your monitor is OK.
Then find the next culprit.
