Vista ready !!

First of all here is my System specifications:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+,
2.01 GHz CPU, 40 GB HDD,
LG DVD-RW, VIA/S3 Unichrome video card,
VIA KN400/KM 400 Chipset
and running Windows Vista Build 5472

My video card dont have support on "Aero". And i need a grapics card which supports Aero. I need that gfx card only for aero and i dont play games or any other activites. I think my PC only supports AGP Cards. So please suggest a good Aero supported AGP grapics card for my PC.

dunno abt GS but GT is av. for 5 and a half grands.
so,GS maybe ar. 4 grands.

But 7300GS is a PCIe card.....its not available in AGP...

To run aero all u need is a 6200 or higher..

So get any card above 6200 .....

who said u need a geforce 200 at the minimum

graphics card above Geforce FX 5200 or Radeon 9600 can run vista at max quality

6200 is a good choice, cheap & best

I don't think Athlon Xp 2400+ is slow for vista.....dude its more than enough!!

improve hdd(80gb) and ram till till 1 gb(min 512mb will do)....also u need good graphic card

Well .. if u only want Aero and have no intention of gaming what-so-ever .. then get a FX 5200 .. should costs around 2k's ...

Even at times i think my 3800+ ( oc'ed 3500+) is struggling a bit ... i really suggest that for Vista u really should opt for a dual core .. but not everybody is that rich (inc. me) ...

hey Sreeejith ... do u have an asus mobo ... coz if u do then u n i have the same mobo ... lemme tell u then that the mobo has 4X AGP slot .... and $X is not fast enough to support Vista ...
