Smile Sony-benq-liteon

So, which of these brands is the best?? I mean, "The Best". I've heard the Liteon has won some awards for its CD RW Drives. So, what abt its DVD RWs?

Have been using a sony drive for some time now . pretty satisfied with it . Sony scores well with the dealers as it is easily available. but most of the newer sony drives are just rebadged benq drives.

Well .. out of those i'd say Liteon is the clear winner .. though i've not tried Benq .... Sony DVD RW are not very good .. they have some media incompatibility , which can solved by a little firmware upgrade i think ..

i have been studying this dvdrw market for 3 days , what i finalize is
to go for one of these liteon three models :
shw 160p6s
shw 165p6s
shw 1635
whichever from these is available i ll go for it, sony is just rebagged benq
or liteon drives , i also learned that benq 1650 is an ultimate drive but
availability ans service is an issue.
