AGP Slot service.

Hello,

Just about six months back my XFX 5700Le graphics card had gone with a

small heat injury beneath the socket of the video card...so the card was

forbidden to play games further more..okay if an AGP card has gone okay, we

can buy an new cheap one, but the dead card and also took the life of its

partner the 8 X AGP slot on my mobo Intel 865GBF... so the slot is not

working.....Im looking for service of the slot...so let me know that can it be

serviced in chennai or any of you have know were to get it serviced....

Yes it can be replaired, usually its the capacitors that are affected, and hence can be replace by the technician. Only you need to find one.

My friend had a similar problem with AGP slot and he got it repaired from a local electronics repair shop. If you r from delhi goto Nehru Place.
