Question How to accomodate 723 MB in 700 MB CD


Hey friends,

I would like to write (BURN) a 723 MB (.dat) file in a 700 MB CD.
Is it possible?
I use NERO 7

Please help me.

Yup.. Just burn it as a Video CD.. It will take the 723 MB file without a problem. Actually Video CDs and Audio CD's go by minutes and not MB's.

Yes .. right as kalpik said ..just burn it in vcd mode only.
otherwise it wont play in vcd player


dat files are of larger size .. wen u use vcdgear to convert it to .mpg .. its get reduced a little.
dat files are raw files .. so that they can be read at vcd players
even more than 730MB dat files can be fit on CD-R sometimes in vcd mode

For DATA CD --> You can burn upto 722 mb in Overburn .. but u should choose disc at once

yeah,for video n audio,u can can use this method.
But,if ever u want more than 700Mb of data,u can try overburning if supported by ur drive.
