Default Liteon 1635s


hello guys. i finally found a great drive. i'm purchasing this drive. is its available here. also is it available at CTC hyderabad. if not available please can you mention the other lite-on models available(like 1673s or 1693s). please reply fast this is pretty urgent. looking forward for a speedy reply.

also give me the exact prices of 256 and 512 MB 266 Mhz RAM modules. thanks a lot again.

Buy Lite-on drive from international website such as amazon,newegg.etc
Also mention the RAM Brand you looking for.

When he says that it is locally available for him, why you are suggesting to buy from international online sites, which is next to impossible for most of us.

yes ur right janitha i'm looking for a drive thats locally available.
are the super all write and 1635s drives available and at what price. if not what is the next best model from lite-on.

of ram. i don't know which one to buy. whats the difference b/w hynix and corsair ram? is it the chip or the manufacturer? my system is 3 yrs old. i want a good 266Mhz ram. are modules from kingston good enough? thanks a lot.

well please somebody reply. i think i'm going to buy the drive today any quick replies will be a welcome relief. thanks.

You can search the threads in the forum regarding the DVD writer and you will get all the info you need.

You will find it difficult to get 266 MHz Ram nowadays, but you can try. Higher speed rams are supposed to be backward compatible ( but may not always) but if possible try it in your system before buying. Or else search for second hand ones. Branded Rams like Kingston, Transcend, Corsair are better but they may be using chips from other companies. But in this case I think you need not bother about it. Just try to find one that works in your PC.

Its difficult beacause preference is BENQ>>LITEON>> SONY...but still many go in for SONY...name sake and others prefer BENQ

ya plz liteon owners tell us about your modle of liteon as i also
zeroed on liteon now.which are mainly available in india.
