You can search the threads in the forum regarding the DVD writer and you will get all the info you need.
You will find it difficult to get 266 MHz Ram nowadays, but you can try. Higher speed rams are supposed to be backward compatible ( but may not always) but if possible try it in your system before buying. Or else search for second hand ones. Branded Rams like Kingston, Transcend, Corsair are better but they may be using chips from other companies. But in this case I think you need not bother about it. Just try to find one that works in your PC.
