Default Can i use SATA HDD with old one?


Hello everyone,

I don't hve much knowledge abt harrdware compatibility and stuff..

anyways,.. i have a 40 GB HDD, (company: maxtor ) and I am planning to buy a new SATA hdd . Can I use these two diff. types of hdd together ??

Yes u can use both at a time but specify u r config. mainly motherboard .
Because if u r mobo is not compatible with sata then ,there will be no meaning in purchasing sata hdd

ohh then here is the config of that system.. Amd athlonxp processor, 40Gb HDD, i guess Msi motherboard km266, 256mb DDR Ram .. I remembe only this much...

So is it possible to use it.. ???
