Yes,buy either Lite-on or Sony DVD writer.never think to buy benq or samsung.

They themselves take it form benq and just chnage teh name and reselll it with SONy name...did u knew that???

After u have bought the drive what u want members to tell u that it is bad/good???
U should be now in position to provide a hands on review after using it , isnt it? U have bought it after thinking properly so what can we say now..if be4 u would had asked which one then we could had SUGGESTED..

am having a really strange prob with the drive!!
when i burn a second session in a multi session dvd,the dvd writer does not show the files burnt in the second session!!
but when i use the same disc in my dvd rom it shows all the files!!
and the strangest thing is ..if i wait for say 15 mins after burning the dvd then put it in the writer then it shows all the files!!but if i burn the second session and just at the same time i put the dvd in the writer it does not show the files burnt in the second session!!
plz help!!

Its nothing but rebagded LITE ON SHM 160P6S ..drive ..

its well know fact worldwide that sony just sells either lite on or benq drives under their faceplate and even charge premium for it ... buying these doesnt make any sense .. and all these people saying that sony is the best .. quite funny ..

also u have got a oem sony drive .. not bad.. Even i got a sony G120A .. which is nothing but LITE ON SHM 165P6S .. diffenence between ur and mine drive is support for dvd-ram media .. I knew it, hence bought sony and then crossflashed it to lite on drive .. infact i bought this drive for making it a lite on drive .. cos at that time the org lite on drive was bit more costly .. hence made that decision..

dont worry .. urs a good drive ..
