Default VGA memory can not be set to more than 64 MB

I have ACER ASPIRE 1360 Factory fitted 256 MB RAM.When I added a 512 stic to the second slot and tried to increase the VGA memory from BIOS it toggles between 16 to 64 as before the upgradation. Anybody having solution?I am having problem in editing movie or pictures.(Showing virtual memory low).

it seems like ur onboard grafix chipset cannot share mor than 64MB , which onboard chipset u r havin??

to solve ur problem regarding low virtual memory do this:

right click my computer, go to properties and then advanced tab, click performance setting button and then go to advanced tab click on change virtual memory and change the paging file size ,set initial size to 1024 MB and final size to 2048 MB
