I need an external HDD for my laptop.
can I get THOSHIBA here?
I am at kerala.

Dude don't go for toshiba external hdd.......just get a normal IDE hdd and get a casing...which will convert the IDE to USB interface.......
the casing should cost u between 0.5k to 1.5k.........
and the a 80 gig hdd should be around 2k........so u get an external hdd for 2.5k.....

You can follow the advice given by Samrulez but try to get a branded casing if possible. Branded external HDDs are available but I doubt you will easily find it in Kerala. You may try at Ernakulam. Or else, try online shops like deltapage.com, itdepot.com, computerwarehouse.com but their prices will be on the higher side.

BTW, where in Kerala are you? I am at Kollam.
