Default Re: Lan Problem

u will have to have

1) 2 lancards in Host PC (where u will have Broadband Installed) and
2) 1 lancard in second pc
3) Now lets take 2 lancards on Host PC a) Broadband b) Local LAN
4) now setup a network on both the machines but use only b) lancard
5) on Host b) lancard give ip : 192.168.0.1 and subnet as 255.255.255.0
6) on second PC lancard give ip : 192.168.0.10 and subnet as 255.255.255.0
7) Use same workgroup
8.) Enable filesharing
9) Turnoff Firewall at Local Lan connection
10) Configure Lancard a) for Broadband Connection
11) rightclick on ur Broadband Connection and Use Internet connection sharing and select Local Lan from the List
12) now u will b able to share Internet connection...

or use any proxy server for sharing install it on Host PC and clofigure the second pc as suggested in its help.....

thanx
