Default About processor speed

I have configuration

Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Motherboard: A7S266-VM
RAM: 512 DDR

It shows a speed of 1.51 GHz, whereas my friend has the same processor and he gets a speed of 2.01GHz (without overclocking).

Please send me an answer to this problem

Is there a diff in your mobos and ram modules?

There can't be so much diff between 2 different cores.

There should be a CPU speed jumper somewhere on the board. Your FSB is running at 200MHz. It must run at 266 MHz. Check your mobo manual.

If I remember correctly, the earlier XP2400s were of 2Ghz speed and later ones with somewhat lower speed and probably larger L2 cache. But I also dont think the differnce was this much.
