Default Guys help me buy a new pc....

Hello, here,
I have bought a pc,
A64 3500+
Asus A8n-vm
512 Mb Kingston value ram
80 gb SATA Seagate barracuda

Although it is a decent conf. i am not satisfied with the graphics performance.
So plz suggest a good gfx card 5-6K

I am Also planning to buy a new machine with the same specs above and a 6600GT 128MB and 512*2 kingston 400mhz ,but due to non availibility of a64 3500+(7k),i will have to settle for 3200+(6.5K) or else 3800+(11k) with 2MB cache BUT 4K extra cash. What should i do now. Is 3200+ a good proccy?

i would suggest you w8 for the 3500[64] as you may require the xtra power for gfx prossing.

as for you old rig i would say get any of these so as to make it vista ready [every thing else seems to match the min requirems]
GeForce FX 5600 GPUs
GeForce FX 5500 GPUs
GeForce FX 5200 GPUs
GeForce PCX GPUs

Well for u r current machine...get a 6600GT or 7300GS or GT..........They should be within 7k...I think...

For u r new machine..well.......there is no difference between..3200+ and 3500+ .....except for the 200 MHz that the 3500+ has.........so u can get a 3200+...and if u r not happy with the performance then...just overclock it to 2.20 GHz....But still.....it would be a lot better if u got a 3500+.....coz..overclocking reduces life, voids warranty,overheats...etc etc........And stick to the Venice core whatever..........
