I am using it and it's not flimsy, if that's what you are asking. Bin having it for half a year now. I don't quite love it, but there's nothing to hate either.

^The optius is a concept keyboard, which means it's not out yet and when it does (end of this year, probably), it will cost a nuclear bomb. And it is not from Microsoft. The MS keyboard was Multimedia kbd. It works for me.

Re: ~= Please Suggest a Good Mouse Under 1K =~
I doubt that Duo 700 fits your budget.
I pursonally would avoid iBall, rather get one of the mice that I have suggested, you will get Microsoft comfort 3000 Mouse (1000dpi) for sub 1k
A quality 1600dpi mouse from a good brand like Logitech costs 2800 or so, MX 518.

Re: ~= Please Suggest a Good Mouse Under 1K =~
very different experience with blackcat wireless.
it has the headache of installing drivers. even on xp. and those startup apps resourse hog. without them you cant use all the functions. and i simply coudnt get used to the scrolball. that is quite irritating during games.its not very precise either.
--I dont recoment the blackcat wireless to anyone--
dunno abt the laser mouse though.
btw: iball.com isnt a valid link.
its http://www.iballonline.com/newarrival.asp
@vishal gupta flat keyboards answer posted in you other post
