Unhappy Help me I am going mad!!!

My DVD writer and CD Drive both can't be found
I installed Nero7 and restarted then see what happened.
When I go to the device manager and double click on the drives it shows:

Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
See the attached image for detail
How can I solve the device.

Were the drives available before installing Nero7?

Did you check the internal wiring to verify if cables are properly attached?

Check the internal wirings to see if they are properly connected. This happened to
me with the harddisk not getting detected. I checked all wirings & connected it
again. After that it was detected. Opps a sigh of relief.

u must have connected IDE cables invertly.. it happens sometimes.. check IDE cables.. as ur both drives are not detecting, there must be problem with IDE cables. check connections on motherboard too. also check power supply cable is working properly or not...
