Default pc for 20k


i am planning to upgrade my pc.could u suggest a configuration for all that goes into the cabinet for under 20k.i already have the monitor,modem,keyboard,mouse.i need it only for casual gaming,to run itunes,play movies(so include dvd writer if possible),listen to music and for the internet.it should be able to run windows vista and games(at low resolutions,of course) for 5 years.
please suggest something on the intel platform and the approximate prices of all components

Well for u AMD will be better....
AMD Athlon64......................................5000
ASUS A8N VM .....................................4500
Zebronics cabinet with SMPS.................2000
Transcend 512 MB ram sticks................2000
HDD Seagate SATA 80GB.......................2000
Sony DvD writter..................................2200
~optional~ XFX 6600 128MB..................4500

This should cost u around 22K..........if u go for a gfx card.....The gfx card is optional

Yupp .. a similar one ..

AMD Athlon64 3000+ : ~5000
Asus A8N VM CSM : ~3500
Iball cabinet with 400W PSU : ~1500
Zion 2*512 MB DDR400 RAM : ~4500
Seagate 120 GB SATA : ~2800
Liteon DVD RW : ~2400

For now u can stick to the onboard 6100 IGP with 128 MB shared .... and then later put in a 7600 or something ... don't bother getting a 6600 , coz it'll be out dated in probably in 2-3 months ....

hi can u 2 suggest a intel m/b + proc.. 4 10000... Same req... Wich wd be the best combo in intel

This will be a good Dual Core soltion....though it would be better if u got a ASUS mobo.......
