startup ok but shutdown have problem

well I have amd 3000+ , msi MB , 1024 mb , windows XP installed and there is windowBlinds and various screen mod software installed with some objectdocks widgets and there r Fsecure and tune-up utilities

startup is normal but shutdown takes very long time . guys help

reduce ur startups so that ur shutdown can be faster too.
also ensure that u r NOT erasing ur paging file at shutdown. use ur tune-up utilities>system control>memory and cache, for it.

also try this:
Start Regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control.
Click on the "Control" Folder.
Select "WaitToKillServiceTimeout"
Right click on it and select Modify.
the default value is ( i think) 6000.
Set it a lower value, say 1000.
