hi

my friend got a 512mb ddr ram himself and installed in his HCL beanstalk motherboard...it got smoked up and now they say mobo repair,

they say ..u shud put only hcl company ram..wot they mean..?

btw do it is highly necessary...ram shud be bought on the basis of that cpu mhz speed thing..? or else is is it a problem making?

wots th theory in these ram , cpu speed? etc....cud u please tell.in detaill...!!

The RAM module you r installing should be in compliance with your mobo memory controller's frequency. Otherwise there is a chance of burnout.
CPU frequency has nothing to do with RAM frequency. So check your mobos manual or your hardware vendor to install the current RAM module.
