Red face New PC for 30,000/-


This is for a friend. And since we will keep this in a hostel room, we require a TFT or LCD monitor. I know the budget is a little less. So please suggest mobos with excellent onboard graphics. I am not sure wether to go for amd or intel. Surely it will be occasionally used for playing games. So i guess it will be AMD.

512X2 DDR 400 Transced - 4K
Samsung 540N LCD 15" - 9K
Seagate 80 GB SATA - 2.5K
Logitech K/B + Optical Mouse - 800/-
Benq DVD-RW - 2.5K
Cabinet + PSU - 1.5K

For the LCD monitor go for Samsung 15" 510N .........9900
or Samsung 17'' 713N .......12500

if u r taking prices of deltapage then dont forget the tax ..their prices are not inclusive of taxes and so i deliberately added a few hundred bucks in everything

just the amd price from deltapage. ok add vat with it but all others r rate from delhi with vat

Thamks for the reply guys. This will be very useful. And whil;e you are at it,can you please sugest an intel configuration. Actually my friend is buying a computer for the first time and is fixated upon buying intel (just like i did!)
