Red face why CD-rewriting ?

our cd burner can

1. read the cd ok fine
2. write data to the cd
3. erase a already written cd and write the new content ,

ok but I want to know do u think the 3rd option is beneficial ? I never re-written any cd . and I think that need some special cd which is more costly than a dvd . and just for that all the cd writters becomes more pricy . I use cd burning only for back-up purpose and **u can understand ** . how many of u do cd rewriting and why ?

does dvd writer also a dvd rewriter?

Cd rewriting was very useful years ago. Pen drives made them useless.
Secondly, first cd writers did not support half-burn/multi-session whatever u say that.
I do use the rewriting option but very rarely. Cd-rs are damn cheap these days.

hey, i use cd-rwss fer experimenting and also for backing up my data, i find 'em useful as they can be erased if there is a burning failre.....

every person has a different view of things, according to his convenience.
