Default strange problem

Hi all,
I am having intel 865gv mobo + p IV 2.8 ht + 512 DDR RAM + 410 GB HDD ( 250+160+20). For last 2 months I am facing one problem. When I keep my PC on for long time ( say overnight) unattended and then try to switch on the monitor, the LED keeps on blinking and nothing appears on monitor though the CPU seems to keep on working. later on I checked my internet download status( as I was downloading some movie in night, just to check if CPU was working or not) and it showed that even download had stuck 3 hrs back!!!!!... can anyone suggest the possible cause/remedies???

thanks in anticipation....
Abhishek

Looks like your PC goes into standby mode and becomes unresponsive there-on? Check your power settings if any option ia available to stop standby and just close monitor in turn.
