are dual layer blank dics availale in mumbai ?

does any one knw where do u get blank dual layer discs in mumbai..first of all are they manufactured.....??from which brand...??cauz i ve never se4en them in market..??even abroard ..i didnt find them ??i have a sony dual layer writer...
why do companies manufacture....writers if they there are no blank dual discs avlbl ??
if someone knw plzzz tell me where to get them...r thy avlbl on lamington road..???

i donno abt mumbai...but its available in market and its costly. comes more than 200 rs. cud any 1 tell me y it is costly..??? bcoz its from company..? no local dl dvd available in market??

cud anybody tell me what is the theory behind dl dvd and sl dvd..? how the data compressed in these discs are diffreent?

Dual layer DVDs have two layers for recordig on the same side of the disc. See the following link for more details.

Yeah definitely they are available in mumbai. You can find Maxell, Mitsubishi, Sony Dual layer DVDs at HeeraPanna behind Haji ali.
