Cool CD/DVD RW Quick Format of Full Format


what is the best method to be used for formatting when using RW media.

Yes, quick format is recommended. Do a full format only when u are facing some problems with the disk. A full format decreases the life of the disk.

QUick format wont reduce disk life, butfiles maybe recovered. So incase of data that must be deleted for sure, use full format

quick format removes the internal directory structure of the files so that u can no longer see or access them,while full format removes the actual files themselves,so they cannot be recovered by any means.
