Question please help...


hi...
i got my new pc with
PROCESSOR :Intel pentium 930 D 3.0 Ghz 2x2 Mb L2
Mob :Intel mob 945 GNT
Friends i got a problem...
i am not able to make out the L2 cache memory in Bios it shows only 2 mb
but it should be 2x2 i disabled the single core config and tried everything
it shows only 2 mb .... even 3d mark 06 said its 2 mb l2
SO how do i know the cache size.... i contacted the dealer he said that it shows the same way
in BIOS ..please tell me how do i know that i have got the right L2 please help...to get my
confusion out of my mind...



I thank the forum members for giving me the suggestions and letting me a lot about computers stuff

Its 2 MB for a single core ..... dude ... most apps. will display only info about one core ... try Everest of SiSoftware Sandra ...

If it doesnotm show up don't worry Intel doesnot forget to put that 2MB for another core, rest assured you have the exact peripherals.....
Don't panic....and even after this you wanna check out then try the software as mentioned by deathvirus_me...
It would show you what are asking to see.
