Unable to read DVD +R Discs..

Hi guys..
I have a peculiar problem. I have SONY DVD RW DW-Q28A writer.
The Firmware version is KYS3.

I'm unable to read DVD +R discs. Whenever i insert one, i get a message as a blank CD is inserted into the drive and i'm getting the various options to write a Blank CD in the Autoplay Feature!

The DVD's work in other computers.

I used Moserbaer DVD +R discs.

Plz help me sort out this prob.

Try cleaning the lense...last time did u successfully flash the firmware??Was it the official firmware??
