Good Cabinet+PSU under 2K???

Hi,

I wish to upgrade my P-III machine with an AMD based machine.
I have finalised all the components except the Cabinet and power supply unit.

PLease suggest a good cabinet with appropriate cooling and a good PSU.

Total budget = Rs 2000.

hey i am also looking for a new cabinate at<2k..
i have amd 3000+ on A8N SLi and 3 HDD + 3 Optical

my present case does not provide good cooling to the hdd(55degrees) as it is thin metal...

A reasonably good cabinet alone will cost around Rs.1000/- and I doubt whether you will be able to get a good PSU for the balance Rs.1000/-. By good, I mean one with sufficient ampere ratings in the different voltage rails, especially 12V.

Listen i u increase ur budget fer the cabinet, u can get a Zebronics Antibiotic which is a cool gaming cabinet has 3 pre-installed fans and even has a temp. display.....the fans have tri-colour LEDs.....it is for Rs 2300

and Zebronics is an Indian companty so there won't be much problem in availability

hey is that cost inc. of the PSU, i saw somewere that their psu is not good..
can i get one without the PSU and can anyone tell me how to get it in dehradun.

Even if it comes bundled with an ordinary 400W PSU, do you think it will support a configuration like (3000+ on A8N SLi and 3 HDD + 3 Optical) mentioned above?

BTW Zebronics has PSUs (which are said to be of very good quality) that cost many times the mentioned budget of Rs.2300/- for both PSU and cabinet.

They do have diff series of PSUs like ordinary, Gold, Patinum etc.

well i had just bought a 500watt PSU.. so i wanted to know if they have option to buy just the cabinet...

i got a odyssey 2005 500W model 500PA.... cost is nil as it was some adjustment n stuff. It was supposedly the best cheal psu

I can remember that name.
My existing cabinet is odyssey (250W) ATX. It's quite a large cabinet.

Finally, can anyone suggest a good cabinet +PSU under 2K...

the above spcified Zebronics cabinate looks real cool... can anyone give other options and their availability in north india
