The GeForce 5200 will do the job. If u want to be a moderate gamer, then go for GeForce 6200.

Go for the 128 MB version coz in these card the ram is not the bottle neck so it wiser to get a 128 MB card...so go for a XFX 6200 128 Bit 128 MB and it should cost u around 3.5-4 k

but vista and the future games are very texture heavy, aren't they?
so i thought it would be better to go for a 256mb card?

U can go for 5700LE or an ATI 9600pro for around 3~3,5k or get a 6200. U can run vista but most eye candies won't work on them(only work on Gf 7series or ATI 1XXX series @6k+ starting). If u get any of these cards u can play most games at low to med setings until dx10.

They are texture heavy but...

In low end card the ram is not the bottle neck, the 6200 gfx processor is the bottle neck.....so if ur increasing the ram its of no use....

In high end card the ram is the bottle neck and not the gfx processor so increasing the ram helps.....

GT cards comes with faster GDDR3 memory and also the core runs at higher clocks. Sometimes there would be more pixel/vertex pipelines would be activated in GT as well as Ultra/GTX compared to normal or LE versions(LE seems like Low end).
