system rquirement for dvdwriter

hi, I want to buy a dvd writer. but iwhat r the min. system requirments for it.
I have a PII 400MHz and 128mb sdram. will it work. please help.
I want to buy dvd writer but no plans for other upgrades. or i will choose combo drive or simly cd writer.

It should work in ur pc only u need about 5 GB of space on ur HDD for making images and stuff for a single layer dvd and 9 GB for a dual layer dvd

Basically i dont need it for copying dvds but for writing dvds. So is it sufficent for writing dvds.

Ok here's whats written on a DVD RW box: (its a BenQ 1650 DW)

Pentium III 550 Mhz CPU
128 MB RAM
100 MB free space for CD/DVD recording/Editing software installation
1 GB free HDD space for CD image recording (10 GB for DVD authoring) is recommended

Compatible OS - Win XP, 2000, Me, 98.

Yep like cyrux said with only 128 MB ram it will take loads of time to write a dual layer dvd...But it will work..
