Exclamation mouse problem


guys i have got a terible thing with my mouse ...my mouse movess only horizontally and does not moves vertically .

whats the problem .....plz help

which type of mouse r u using?mechanical or optical(it can happen)the X and Y coordinates inside the mouse(mechanical)could be misaligned or damaged or too much dust inside,just open it up and clean it.

Thanxx 4 Replyin' ......... I'm Using Both Optical And Scroll Mouse On A Ps2 Port ....... Also I Have Reinstall The Windows And Still Problem Is There ..(so The Drivers Are Also Alright)..... I Have Connected Fine Workin Mouse Of My Friend To My Pc , But The Problem Still On ....... Whts The Problem I Cant Understand ....the Mouse Flikers Very Much ...some Hardware Eng. Says Its The Problem Of Ps2 Port ... Now What I Have To Do ?? Any Suggestions Plzz

then th problem could be with the ps2 port,it could be damaged,try using a usb mouse or a serial port one.
