SLI 7600gt / 6600gt

how much 7600gt is better than 6600gt?
1. if used as alone.
2. if in sli.
Pl explain how does sli work!

Can two 7600gt[s] be made in sli or one 7600gt & 6600gt can also be made to work in sli.

7600GT is slightly better than 2 6600GT's in SLI.
Both cards have to exactly the same to use SLI.

Well .. a single 7600GT should be the same as a 6600GT SLi .. u can further SLi the 7600GT .. which will even perform better than a 7900GTX ....

dude forget 7600 buy x1800 GTO crossfire u can put 2 cards and kick ass
And advantage of x1800 GTO is 256bit,HDR & AA can be enabled together and costs just $30 more and if ur lucky u can mod it to X1800 XL.

u mean setting up 6600gt in SLI is euivalent to a single 7600gt?
if yes then why not buy a single 7600gt instead of setting up 6600gt in SLI mode.
i mean it would cost less?
is there any more advantage if the cards are in SLI?

well final deal is that setting up 7600gt in SLI is the best option & won't cost u above 15k.
what are the other requirements for setting a SLI based PC.

7600GT x 2 = 15,000 /- i dont think 7600gt's are so cheap

one 7600gt is available for Rs.7650, so a sli will cost Rs. 15300 ~ 15k

From what I would most probably say and go with:

7600GT>=6600GT SLi
7900GT>=7600GT Sli
7900GTX+-=7900GT SLi, however I may prefer a single 7900GTX rather than 7900GT, not fully made up though

1800GTO maybe a better option than 7600GT however a 1900XT will beat the ass of the unmodded crossfire of 1800GTO

for that cost you may get a 6600gt , but that too not every where

There are people who may even argue that 1900XT is a better choice than 7900GT SLi

It's impossible to get a brand new legally purchased 7600 GT for Rs. 7,650. Even my card costs Rs. 9,000.
