New PC ..please recommend

hi friends...
I am abhijith from Mysore... doing B.C.A(final year).
i started subcribing Digit Mag recently and its really cool..
i can keep myself updated with the latest going stuff in the world,,
even it should provide more information on programming.,.

I want to buy a computer.. so i decided to ask for the best configuartion
here,
so i request u guys to provide me the best config that i can
opt for.
MY budget is 30k-37k..
i am not a gammer but i need a min conifg so atleast the new
games do work on my PC.
I dont have much idea about the sys config ,,,so please check down my
requirements and recommend or suggest any changes that has to be made
in my config and suggest ur conifg,,,(with which company hardware)


i want to have
-250+ gb hard disk,
-1 gb + RAM
-DVD WRITER with triple..
-17 inch moniter
-intel processor(should i go for HT or dual core)
-And with Suitable M/B for intel (please tell me which m/b i shld take)
-A normal TV tuner card
-optical mouse and k/b.
- do i need a graphix card.
-modem(which supports Lan )


please reply or mail me with the detailed Hardware config with which brand i need to go for..

this is my first post over here and i hope u guys help me in purchasing
my dream PC....
please dont disappoint me.

1-For what purpose you are going to use this machine plz tell us bout that..so that it will be easier for us to recommend you the best posible.
2-why you only want intel why not AMD?i am not forcing you but AMD is much betta then intel at this point of time.

The above is the best config you can get...may you can a couple of thousand more and go fro 3200 +

Yup probably tht will be the best config but get ur self a 500 watt PSU....
or atleast 450 -430 watt Psu from branded companies like Antec, VIP.....
also go for 3200+ since differance in the price is not tht noticable considerind the speed it gives.....
get urself a 6600 graphic card (around 5K - 7K)if u wanna play some low - medium level upcoming games
If ur taking grahics card then go for ASUS A8N - E (5400Rs) mobo.....
lastly if u r falling low on ur budget skip buying speakers now... it secondary thing....

When u have a budget of 30-40 K then u can go for 3200+/3500+...
rest is fine !!!

All the things my friends above recommended are quite sufficient and i would just like to add that you can have the MSIK8NGM2 board which is also a very good board if u do not want to use an ext. graphics card otherwise if u r thinking of an external graphics card go for ASUSA8NE Mobo
