geforce 6200 can't work on 9100igp

please help me guys

i recently bought a xfx geforce 6200 256 mb agp card

it does not work on my gigabyte 9100 pro igp motherboard

the games run fine but the icons looks srached the pictures are also scrached

i m useing windows xp sp2

pentium 4 2.4 ghz
512 400mhz ram

6200 is a good graphics card in its budget..To slove ur problem update the graphics card's drivers and if possible the bios also (Only from the official website)That should solve the problem...
But avoid updating the bios,,1st update the drivers.Then if that does not work then go with the bios update.!!

what is the desktop bit depth ?? coz upon installing the driver newly .. its set to 16 bit . which is horrific .. set it to 32 bit ...

Well i think this graphic card is not compatible with ur mother board why dont u swap some other graphic card and check it is working or not i dont think upgrading ur driver can solve ur problem cause driver comes with new card is already new and updated anyway plz visit [edit: stop promoting your forum like this - your sig is enough.]

for all ur help but i concluded that only 78.1 ver of forcware works
as my card is agp the newer drivers detect it on pci so with the newer drivers i can't select the 16 or 32bit colour depth
